Who We AreAs a group, neighborhood driven, local restaurants focus on their community, whether we are Uptown, South Park, Plaza Midwood, Matthews, Steele Creek or Dilworth, we focus first and foremost on the businesses and people within close proximity. Eat Charlotte looks to expand that view and to promote Charlotte collectively, to synergize our neighborhood community, uniting restaurateurs and their guests in an effort to celebrate what truly is the Charlotte restaurant scene: incredibly talented local chefs & owners, and all ranges of cuisine from the burger to the pizza to the perfect steak and beyond. Local Food and Local Talent Most locals have long viewed the restaurant scene as a "comfort zone," not seeking to look beyond it, and more often than not, falling into the habit of corporate chains. They just don't know what they're missing! Eat Charlotte gives us, the local guys, the chance to show them!By uniting our resources and cross promoting our restaurants, we multiply the people we reach, and our local neighborhood becomes our Charlotte community, re-defining that "comfort zone" from the corporate chain to the locally owned and operated independent restaurant. |
